I've had a rough couple of years. I started this one out in the hospital thinking that 2011 wasn't looking too good. So it was a surprise today when I heard this song and it struck me that I was actually feeling happy again, feeling like the world wasn't dark. I could see sunshine in my heart again, and look at the past few years without cringing. I suspect this is going to be my new favorite song.

The first time I heard it, I was in a room full of people who had just survived a flood. The joy that filled their voices touched me deeply then. I think I get it now!
